Tampa International Airport - 1 hour and 15 minute drive |
| In Tampa, located just off Interstate 275. This airport is large, it is well organized and moves people around well, but certainly takes a little longer than the other airports listed. Traffic can sometimes be bad. It is usually best to take Interstate 275 south then to Interstate 75 and on to Venice. This airport serves a lot of cities and has good flight deals. It has nonstop daily service to more than 126 national and international destinations. |

Sarasota / Bradenton International Airport - 30 minute Drive |
| In Sarasota, located on University Ave. 6 miles from Interstate 75. This airport is easy to access, park and get in and out quickly. Least traffic is to take Interstate 75 to Venice, Highway 41 can get a lot of traffic at times. The following cities are served with non-stop flights this airport: Atlanta, Baltimore/Washington D.C., Charlotte, Chicago Mid-way, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Detroit, Fort Lauderdale, Indianapolis, Milwaukee, New York/Newark, Ottawa, Pittsburgh, Toronto. CanJet provides non-stop charter service from Toronto and Ottawa usually from Mid-November to April. Also, domestic charter service has been available from Detroit, Las Vegas, Minneapolis, Denver, and Memphis. Please note some cities are only served between November and May, check with the airlines. AirTran recently announced they are adding several new cities in the fall of 2005
