Italian Feast

Named ‘Venice’ back in the late 1800s for its scenic bayous, creeks, and canals leading out to the waters of the Gulf of Mexico that reminded those of the canals in Venice, Italy. Today, the presence of Italian culture can be felt in downtown Venice with its architecture, intercoastal waterways, and numerous Italian restaurants.
Celebrate the Italian influence in Venice, Florida by attending the annual Italian Fesat. Enjoy live music, entertainment, rides and games for the children, and of course delicious food vendors serving up your favorite Italian dishes. Admission and live music are FREE and is hosted by the Italian American Club of Venice.
International Chalk Fest

Where: Venice Airport Grounds
Discover an outdoor museum of art at the International Chalk Fest. Watch as professional pavement artists from around the world use chalk as their medium and the pavement as their surface.
Spectactors will enjoy seeing the artists create their chalk drawings and can even get creative themselves at the interactive zones where chalk is provided to create your own masterpiece. Plus, live music and food vendors are available.
Venice Christmas Boat Parade

Celebrate the holidays Florida style with the Venice Christmas Boat Parade. Featuring miles of intercoastal waterways, Venice is ideal for viewing the parade. Plus, because spectators are in close proximity to the actual parade boats, it’s one of the best viewed parades on the Florida coast. It’s one of the best ways to kick off the holiday season!
