Venice Fishing Pier
The Venice Fishing Pier is the perfect place to watch a sunset, go fish, and enjoy a beautiful summer day. Over the years, the pier has gone under many renovations and re-builds with its history dating back to 1966 when it was first built.
Destroyed by a storm in 1981, the pier was later re-built in 1984, with it again being removed in 2004. Its latest rehabilitation took place in 2019 with upgraded materials, sea-turtle-friendly features, under handrail lights, and new fish-cleaning stations and benches.
Venice Beach Pavilion
Identified by the unique “sail” style pavilion, this iconic landmark was built in 1964 and still stands today as a symbol of Venice Beach. The pavilion is accessible directly across from Heritage Park, just half a mile down Venice Ave. from Venice Beach Villas.
